If you have a pond, you really need to consider adding AquaBella. Recently we tested two large ponds with AquaBella. The owners of both ponds had been suffering from a constant buildup of sludge, algae, and poor water clarity. At first glance, we discovered that the filter systems were not being maintained properly and one of the ponds had very poor water flow. The other pond was stocked with both fish and turtles. They were exposed to several birds that visited the ponds daily (adding to the problem). After correcting the filter systems and reducing the algae with a commercial algicide, we added AquaBella to both systems. A month later, I asked the owners how they felt the ponds were doing. In both cases, they commented of how improved the water clarity had become. They were amazed and said that the pond never looked better. Prior to adding AquaBella, the ponds had improved greatly, but lacked that super clarity that we were able to achieve with AquaBella. The fish appear healthier and the ponds look great.

Achieving Water Clarity...

Before without dosing AquaBella.

When it comes to water clarity, there are a lot of products out there that attempt to provide the consumer with a way to get crystal clear water. In small aquariums, it is sometimes hard to distinguish how clear the aquarium is, or can become. But it Large systems with lots of space, you can really see the difference. Take a look at these aquariums. They are mounted between two rooms. One was cleaned regularly with normal maintenance procedures, the other was also cleaned using normal maintenance procedures but dosed with AquaBella. The video was taken with an iphone 4. We took these videos on the day of cleaning. Which system do you think was easier to clean? Took less time to maintain? The owners of the facility where the aquariums resides tell us they have never seen such a clear aquarium, not at any location they have seen. This is just one visual example of what AquaBella will do for your aquarium. Water clarity is only part of what AquaBella provides to the aquarium.

First, it is important in a (swim) fish only aquarium to insure that the gravel is cleaned regularly. Since much of the bacteria lives on the surface of the gravel, keeping it clean helps the bacteria function better. Also, making sure that Cyanobacteria (red slime) is not building up in low flow areas of the aquarium is important. We have seen AquaBella actually help to reduce Cyanobacteria, but by vacuuming the substrate and where large accumulations are present, using products in conjunction with AquaBella such as Red Slime Remover, or Chemiclean, we can keep the aquarium in the kind of condition that is optimal for AquaBella to perform. In some cases, nitrate levels can become very high needing additional water changes, or using products like AZN03 to get levels down to a reasonable level, help speed up the results that can been seen using AquaBella.

Although AquaBella over time is always going to improve the aquarium, we feel it is important to keep the aquarium well maintained. When using sound maintenance practices and using AquaBella, you will have a great looking aquarium with larger numbers of fish in a thriving environment.

Aquabella is a powerful supplement that gives the aquarist a great advantage in keeping the aquarium well maintained. Results from using AquaBella depend on how clean the aquarium is at the time AquaBella is added to the aquarium. If there are a lot of accumulated waste in the system, it may take longer for AquaBella to reduce the large size of the waste particulates. In addition, good filtration, water-flow, and aeration are all factors that can cause AquaBella to show a delay in the expected results. When I speak of results, I am mainly talking about a visible improvement in water clarity, a reduction in contaminates and algae, and an overall cleaner aquarium.

Generally, within a few weeks you will see a marked improvement in the clarity of the water and an overall cleaner aquarium, but in some cases, it can take longer. We recommend that you add a full dose of AquaBella to the aquarium and preform general maintenance procedures such as gravel vacuuming, changing filter media, etc. After four weeks, if you don’t see improvement in water clarity, add a second dose of AquaBella and continue to do routine maintenance on the aquarium. You will see results and the improved water clarity is one of the most visible. The Bacteria in AquaBella is prolific in its actions and over time will help to remove all kinds of contaminates. With normal routine maintenance, your aquarium will be easier to care for and look dramatically better.

AquaBella affects in a Reef Aquarium Environment

One of the questions we often hear "is AquaBella Safe in a Reef Aquarium". Having kept Reef Aquariums for more than 15 years, I can tell you it is a valid question to ask.

Because there are so many new products coming to market on a regular basis, we must be carful as to what we add to our Reef Aquariums. The balance of these, sometime complex systems, is critical for our success.

Recently, one of my colleagues added a small reactor of Bio Pellets to his Reef Aquarium.
He was attempting to reduce his nitrates down to absolute zero. After a few days, he discovered that his Acropora corals were turning brown. His once vibrantly colored corals all began to turn brown. He wasn't sure why, but he knew it was a result of adding the new reactor with Bio Pellets. He quickly removed the reactor and over the course of the next few weeks and several water changes began to revive his coral back to their once beautiful colors. This type of experience is a common occurrence in the Reef Aquarium hobby and can be seen on the many forums where people are asking for help because something has gone wrong. So when you consider adding a new product, you need to know how it will, or could potentially affect the system.

Recently we tested AquaBella in one of our Display Reef Aquariums. The aquarium had been setup for just over 6 months and was stocked with many soft corals. We initially added 2 ounces of AquaBella to the aquarium and began to add several Hard (stony) corals.
After 2 months, we added a second dose of AquaBella (another 2 ounces). Over the course of the next twelve months, we monitored the aquarium. All the fish and corals have done exceptionally well. There were NO negative affects from using AquaBella. The system did however see some very positive affects. All the algae growth was diminished. The water quality improved and the clarity of the water (something AquaBella is becoming famous for) was spectacular.

From the Fact Sheet:

AquaBella is a dynamic blend of over 100 species of non-pathogenic naturally occuring (non-GMO) microbes. This large variety of microbes enables AquaBella to be highly effective at removing and preventing the accumulation of several different contaminants such as ammonia, nitrates, organic matter, phosphates and algae in both fresh and salt water environments.

Is it safe to Add AquaBella to the Reef Aquarium? Yes

Are their any known negative affects from using AquaBella? None!

From my experience in our Service Business, AquaBella is a great advantage. Again, No adverse affects, with amazing water clarity and diminished algae. These facts have made AquaBella an essential part of our maintenance practices and we continue to use it in all our Reef Aquariums.

My name is Peter Vincent and I run an Aquarium Service company in the Phoenix Arizona area called Aquarium Perfection. Over the years I have tried and experimented with all kinds of products. Some have been helpful like automatic feeders and acrylic safe scrapers with extension poles, new lighting systems, protein skimmers, calcium reactors, and many other innovative products have made a big difference in our ability to keep animals healthy and aquariums sparkling clean. And yes, many products have made claims that fell far short of their promises.

Among the many beneficial aspects of AquaBella, two factors stand out dramatically.
First, it has changed the way we do our service. Second, it has reduced our overall costs to provide the service.

Have I caught your interest yet?

Before AquaBella, we preformed monthly water changes on all the aquariums we serviced.
This included approximately 25% to 30% of the water, along with all the other maintenance procedures we needed to do to keep the aquariums looking great and sparkling clean. All the aquariums did well and we routinely serviced 4 to 5 aquariums a day ranging from 150 gallons to 1,000 gallons on average. After using AquaBella (for over a year now), we have changed our procedures to quarterly water changes on Fish Only (Swim) aquariums. These aquariums look every bit as good as they did before and in-fact, they look better with clearer water. The time it takes to service an aquarium has been reduced because of the "less frequent water changes" and also because the algae and other contaminates have been diminished considerably. These benefits are a direct result of using AquaBella.

Now it is certainly true that we will never be able to stop maintaining aquariums on a regular basis. Algae still grows and equipment must be maintained. Gravel needs to be vacuumed, artificial corals must be rotated, filter pads changed, automatic feeders must be replenished, etc. But, when you consider the time you have on a given service, you are limited on what you can do in a given day. We now routinely preform 6, sometimes 7 and even 8 services a single day. All the aquariums we service have exceptional water quality and clarity. One of the first indicators that AquaBella was an affective product came when we began to see exceptional water clarity. Many of our customer have commented on how good the aquariums look. The water clarity is truly amazing.

We service Freshwater, Saltwater (Swim) and Reef Aquariums. In all cases, the aquariums have improved using AquaBella and the cleaning load has been reduced. The reduced costs to add "Salt" in our saltwater aquariums has been significant.

If you run an aquarium service company, I can't make a stronger recommendation than for you to investigate AquaBella and begin to use it in the aquariums you service. You won't be disappointed!

This is a simple explanation on what to do when adding AquaBella to your Reef Aquarium.
Before adding AquaBella, in order to get the best possible results from adding AquaBella, do the following:

Turn off UV Sterilizers for 24 hours

Turn off any Protein Skimmers for 24 hours

Remove any filter media that may absorb AquaBella, this would include Carbon, Chemi-Pure, Purgen, etc.

Where possible, you may want to remove filter media such as filter pads, Boot Socks, etc., and turn off your Calcium Reactor for 24 hours.

This is only to insure that the AquaBella Bacteria is not removed from the system, or reduced by filtration and potential harmful UV rays. After 24 hours all filtration and other equipment may be run at full capacity.

Next, determine the size of the aquarium in terms of the amount of water you will be treating. Then add the following amount based on the size of the aquarium.

Add 1/2 ounce for aquariums up to 100 gallons, and 1 ounce for aquariums between 100 and 250 gallons. Add one ounce of AquaBella for every additional 250 gallons. Pour the measured amount directly into the aquarium in a high flow area.

That's it. Results will vary depending on the bio-load of the aquarium and in some cases, additional applications may be needed. Within a few weeks you should see results as AquaBella goes to work removing Nitrates, Phosphates, and other harmful contaminates.
Your aquarium will be healthier with less stress on the animals and have amazing water clarity.
